In her work as a speaking coach for ELI Talks, Bonnie Swencionis brings together 15 years of vocal, breathing, and movement training with her passion for helping others make a difference in the world. Formerly debilitated by an autoimmune condition affecting her ability to "stand and deliver," Bonnie has firsthand experience with the profound effect that voice and body exercises can have on communication. She also lends a unique perspective derived from a decade of professional experience in film, television, and stage acting, which allows her to focus on leveraging the client’s own authenticity, individuality, and presence for maximum impact in the medium of internet video. Bonnie's clients know her as "inquisitive," "committed," "thorough," and "brutally honest," and she works best with clients who want to deeply examine their work process, in order to yield results for the project at hand as well as future speaking endeavors. In a volunteer capacity, Bonnie teaches cooking classes to seniors, and runs a support group for women with autoimmunity and other chronic conditions. Born in New York, raised in Teaneck, New Jersey, she now splits time between New York and Los Angeles with her husband.
